If you wait until January 1, 2014 when premiums won't be based on medical underwriting you may find yourself having to pay a substantially higher monthly premium. Therefore, look into purchasing your policy in Georgia before January 1, 2014 and lock in a lower premium and avoid the many anticipated issues with Healthcare Reform.
